In south Damascus, under the name “Martyrs of Yarmouk Camp,” the Palestinians in Syria Relief and Development Association along with Jenin sports club started a men’s football league on Saturday. The tournament is played in Watad Center, in Yelda town south of Damascus. The opening match was between “Al-Shemal” and “Al-Akhaa” teams that ended with a draw, one goal to each team. The second match was played between Jenin Sports Club and Al-Quds team, which ended with a deserved victory for the Jenin Club team with 5 goals against 2.
