As part of the training program conducted in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Damascus, the Palestinian Red Crescent held first aid courses for Palestinian youth in Bisan Hospital in Homs and the Jaffa Medical Complex in Damascus.
On Saturday 17th of September, the Red Crescent held a disaster management course in the lecture hall at the Jaffa Medical Complex in Damascus.
While the activities team in the volunteers committee in Al-Aedin Camp in Homs, held a Palestinian national day with the participation of institutions inside the camp, on the 18th of this month.
A number of members of the Red Crescent were subjected to serious abuses by the Syrian forces, while others have been arrested, many of them dying due to torture in Syrian prisons.
