For its part, Facebook pages close to the Syrian regime posted a statement made by “Saed Abd Al-Aal,” commander of the military wing in the Free Palestine Movement affiliated to the Syrian regime, that that a preliminary agreement between the Syrian government and representatives of the armed factions in “Al-Qadam” neighborhood, south of Damascus, urges the armed groups and their families that want to leave, to move in the northern direction towards Idlib and Jarabulus in the Aleppo suburbs. They are expected to leave on the upcoming Tuesday or Wednesday.
According to “Abd Al-Aal” the number of opposition fighters in Al-Qadam neighborhood has reached 600, without the ISIS fighter who were not included in the agreement. This comes amid the announcement of the armed Syrian opposition in Al-Qadam on the preparation for the implementation of a preliminary agreement between them and the Syrian regime to withdraw its members from the neighborhood.
