AGPS’s correspondent in Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus confirmed that members of ISIS, which is in control of large areas of the camp, confiscated the Islamic and National education books from the camp’s students.
This comes amid within a tight campaign targeting the camp’s students and teachers. A few days ago ISIS described the curricula taught to students as infidel, leading its members to confiscate the books holding UNICEF’s logo.
ISIS has been in control of the camp since April 2015 with the help of Al-Nusra Front, previously known as “Tahrir Al-Sham.”
