Liwa Al-Quds Battalion announces the death of 5 refugees of its members in an ambush in Deir Al-Zour, east Syria

Palestinian Liwa Al-Quds Battalion, affiliated to the Syrian regime forces, has announced the death of 5 of its members in an ambush in “Al-Shoula” area located in Deir Al-Zour city, east of Syria.

According to the battalion, most of those who died are Palestinian fighters from Neirab camp for Palestinian refugees in Aleppo. Their names are:

Mahmoud Muhammed Ayoub, Muhammed Abd Al-Qader Rafee, Mahmoud Muhammed Hemeda, Ahmed Muhammed Al-Muhammed and Ahmed Zakaria Gaghl.

Liwa Al-Quds battalion was formed on October 6, 2013 without announcing so at the time. It was formed by “Muhammed Saeed” and it consists of three battalions, including fighters from Neirab camp, Handarat camp and Aleppo and its western and northern suburbs.
