In south Damascus, Palestinian activists announced the formation of a civilian gathering under the name “Independent Palestinian Gathering.” The gathering said in its statement that it is meant for the people’s conditions and includes all social categories, assuring that it is not affiliated to any faction or political agendas.
This comes amid a state of fear lived by the Palestinian people over the fate of the south of the Syrian capital Damascus and their prevention from leaving the camp and returning to their homes due to ISIS’s control of it.
