Palestinian-Syrian “Muhammed Hussein Ashmawy” came third place in the Judo championship that was held in the Kingdom of Sweden. The Yarmouk camp resident won two bronze medals in the men and youth categories.
There are a number of men from Palestinian camps who have reached Sweden and achieved great success. “Abdullah Moussa” from Yarmouk camp won first place in the Judo championship on September 20th 2015, while Palestinian-Syrian refugee “Essam Hossam El-Din Taleb” came first in the Swedish Karate championship on September 23rd 2016, to be the fourth gold medal in the same game.
