In north Lebanon, during their sit-in in front of the UNRWA director's office in Beddawi camp, the Palestinian refugees demanded a comprehensive emergency relief plan for all Palestinian refugees from Syria to Lebanon and that winter aid be provided, as well as the increase of shelter and relief assistance.
During a speech it made amid the sit-in, the committee called for monitoring the file of the displaced Palestinians from Syria demanded UNRWA to undertake its duties towards refugees in general and those displaced from Syria to Lebanon in particular.
A number of Palestinian factions and popular committees participated in the sit-in, as well as a crowd of residents from Beddawi camp and the Palestinians displaced from Syria.
The number of Palestinian refugees from Syria living in Lebanon is 31 thousand refugees, spread across the Palestinian gatherings and camps.
