UNRWA announced its intention to distribute financial aid to Palestinian refugees in Syria, in its fourth round for 2017, starting from October 22nd 2017 (except for Aleppo which will start on the 26th) until December 7 2017.
UNRWA also confirmed that it will send mobile phone messages to the eligible families in order to receive the financial assistance, noting that the last day to register the complaints of the families in Syria in order to obtain the aid during the fourth round is 16 November 2017.
UNRWA added that an amount of 25,000 Syrian pounds will be given per household member for the normal cases and 12,500 Syrian pounds will be paid per household member for the registered families that are living in shelter centers. It called on the families to review its inquiries centers in the Syrian cities for further assistance on the financial aid.
