Residents of Deraa camp call on UNRWA, PLO and the Palestinian factions to to perform their duties towards them

Dozens of residents of Deraa camp for Palestinian refugees had a sit-in after Friday’s prayers, to express their anger towards UNWRA, the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian factions, for their dereliction towards them, especially when it comes to the urgent relief aid.

The residents called on UNRWA to perform its duties towards the dozens of Palestinian families inside the camp and working on providing them with financial and relief aid, without taking the area’s security condition as an excuse as it will no longer be accepted.

The protesters also called on the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian factions to work on stopping the suffering of the people in the camp, who are suffering from water and power cuts, a lack of food supplies and the high prices of them, in addition to the extreme scarcity of medical services.
