Completion of the reconstruction of Al-Huda Mosque in Khan Al-Sheih Camp, after being damaged by the shelling

In the suburbs of Damascus, AGPS’s reporter in Khan Al-Sheih camp confirmed that Al-Huda Mosque is still under reconstruction, after it was bombarded several times, which led to the destruction of parts of it and to great damage to its campus and its legitimacy during the years of the war.

The latest was on the night on 13-11-2016, where Russian airplanes targeted the mosque with rockets, killing two people and injuring many others while on their way to Al-Fajr prayers.

Amid the ongoing war in Syria, Khan Al-Sheih camp has faced bombardments with rockets, artilleries and explosive barrels, as well as the siege imposed on its residents before the signing of a reconciliation agreement between the Syrian regime and the armed opposition. 2500 Palestinian refugees were forcibly displaced to Idlib in north Syria.
