The Syrian regime is hiding the fate of Palestinian refugee “Basel Abdallah Al-Saaedy,” after the popular committees affiliated to the regime arrested him in the beginning of 2013 from in front of one of the markets near to Al-Sayeda Zeinab in the suburbs of Damascus. Since his arrest, no information has been revealed about him. He is from the Hejira neighborhood in the Damascus suburbs.
AGPS receives a number of messages and information about Syrian refugees and are successively documented despite the difficulties in obtaining information about the fate, names and locations of the detained as the Syrian regime continues to reserve such data. To
this date, AGPS has recorded the detention of 1640 Palestinians in the Syrian prisons, including 103 women.
