The shelling and siege threaten the lives of more than 250 Palestinian families in the Ghouta, Damascus

The lives of more than (250) Palestinian-Syrian families in the eastern region of Ghouta are directly threatened, due to the intensification of the bombardments and siege carried out by the Syrian regime on the neighborhoods of Ghouta, Damascus.

Food and medical supplies have been banned from entering the region and according to the information received by AGPS, the families are distributed across the towns of Duma, Zamalka, Hezzeh and Hamouriyah, which are subjected to continuous bombardments. The towns also suffer an extreme lack of food and medical supplies due to the siege, causing the relief and medical foundations to launch several distress calls, especially after the outbreak of malnutrition among dozens of children.

The residents renewed their demands through AGPS, to all the international parties, particularly UNRWA, the official Palestinian bodies, the Palestinian embassy, the PLO and the Arab and European relief foundations, to work to put an end to their suffering and send urgent relief aid to them.
