The Palestinian Independent Gathering calls for the investigation of the situation in Yarmouk camp

In south Damascus, the Palestinian Independent Gathering called on the Palestinian families and events present in the south of Damascus, to attend the meeting to be held on Tuesday 28th of November, in the Al-Balad Al-Qadim Mosque, in the Palestinian lane in the town of Babilla, to discuss the latest developments of Yarmouk camp.

The Palestinian Independent Gathering was established in the south of Damascus in the beginning of October 2017. According to its founders, it was made to take care of the public’s situation and include all the categories of the Palestinian nation, adding that it does not belong to any faction or political agenda.

The Palestinian Independent Gathering began its first activity on 20-10, when it called on the Palestinian families in the south of Damascus to a sit-in, to demand UNRWA to bring in food aid to the besieged Palestinian-Syrian refugees and to express their rejection of UNRWA’s decision to reduce their financial assistance.
