Action Group: The number of Palestinian victims in the Syrian war has exceeded 3615 deaths

AGPS’s documented statistics reveal that the number of Palestinian refugees who have died because of the ongoing war in Syria, has reached 3615 victims since 2012.

The statistics show that 1148 refugees died because of the exchanged bombardments between the Syrian regime forces and the armed Syrian opposition groups.

While the clashes between the regime and the opposition led to the death of 946 refugees, in addition to 475 men and women who have died due to torture during their interrogation in the Syrian regime prisons.

307 Palestinians died of sniper shots, and the siege of the Palestinian refugee camps by the Syrian regime and a number of the Palestinian factions affiliated to it, has led to the loss of 201 lives because of malnutrition and the lack of medical services, resulting from the siege.

The remaining deaths were due to several different reasons including explosions, civilian executions and drowning while attempting to reach Europe.

It is noteworthy that AGPS documents all the Palestinian refugee victims, despite their political position or the body responsible for their death.
