Hundreds of Palestinians in Idlib appeal to UNRWA to take its responsibility towards them

The Palestinian refugees displaced from the capital, Damascus, and its suburbs, appealed to UNRWA to assume its responsibilities towards them and to provide relief and medical assistance which were provided to them in the areas they lived in, in Damascus.

They also called on the international organizations to lend them a helping hand, and called on UNRWA to provide them with relief and medical assistance, as well as education services to the children who have been deprived of them, after being displaced from Damascus and its suburbs.

The last quarter of 2016 had seen the displacement of more than 2500 Palestinian refugees from Khan Al-Sheih camp to Idlib, north of Syria, after signing a reconciliation agreement was signed between the regime forces and the Syrian opposition groups, in addition to the thousands of Palestinian refugees who fled Yarmouk, Sabinah, Handarat and Al-Hussaineya camps.
