Sources in the Yarmouk refugee camp told AGPS’s reporter that members of ISIS are systematically looting the homes of the residents of the camp, after the organization stopped paying their salaries. Over the past few days, a theft phenomenon has grown considerably, where the members of ISIS steal everything they can carry and unassemble out of the houses, including electric wires extending inside the walls.
Members of ISIS had previously started stealing the wooden furniture from the camp’s houses and converting it into firewood for heating, to sell it in the camp’s markets.
