The Palestinians’ suffering in Syria, the Palestinian refugees in its south are suffering from suffocating living crises, the high prices of materials and the fuel crisis in particular, and especially after increased rainfall and frost in the cold winter climate.
According to the Action Group’s correspondent in south Syria, the refugees in Deraa camp and the town of Muzayrib, in the western suburbs of Deraa are complaining about the high prices of fuel, where the price per liter of fuel has reached 400 Syrian pounds.
In addition to the traders’ exploitation of gas, where the price of one cylinder has reached 9500 Syrian pounds. As for the price of firewood, one ton has amounted to 100 thousand Syrian pounds.
In addition to these crises, Deraa camp, Muzayrib and other areas are subjected to bombardments, which have led to the death of hundreds, as well as destroying more than 80% of the camp’s buildings and infrastructure and the displacement of most of its residents to different places, inside and outside of Syria.
These crises come in the absence of aid and UNRWA’s work, as well as the lack of financial resources and lack of support and income needed, to meet the basic needs of the Palestinian refugees.
