The Palestinian camps in Syria, and the areas home to Palestinian-Syrian refugees in the Arab countries, Turkey and the European countries, witnessed a number of demonstrations of anger, through which the refugees expressed their stand against the American decision which recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli occupation.
The protests, which began yesterday, included hundreds of Yarmouk camp’s residents, who were displaced to Yelda and the north of Syria, as well as the residents of Neirab camp, Sayeda Zeinab camp, Deraa camp and Muzayrib. Also, those who were displaced of them participated in the demonstrations which went out from the Lebanese, Arab and Turkish cities, in addition to the European countries such as Germany, Sweden, Holland and others.
Continuing calls are being made for a number of demonstrations in the rest of the Palestinian camps, to express the Palestinian refugees’ rejection of the American President, Donald Trump’s to consider Jerusalem the capital of the Israeli occupation.
The demonstrators stressed the Arabism of Jerusalem and the protesters carried slogans condemning and denouncing the decision, and asserting on the need to continue these moves until the decision is withdrawn.
Palestinians in a number of areas and camps in Syria are suffering from large living crises, including Deraa, Yarmouk, Muzayrib and Handarat camps.
