The lawyer of the Palestinian-Syrian who broke the restaurant in Amsterdam confirms that his action was targeting the Israeli government, not the Jews

The young man’s lawyer, William van Fleet, said that the Palestinian who broke the glass of the restaurant carrying the Israeli flag in Amsterdam two days ago, said that: “What the young man did was a desperate act as a result of the deteriorating situation in Palestine.” He added that that the man does not hold hostile feelings towards the “semitic,” and that his action was targeting the Israeli government, not the Jews.

Dutch media sources spoke of a 29-year-old Palestinian man who attacked the "Hacarmel"restaurant in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam on Thursday 07-12-2017, in rejection of the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Channel AT5 in the Netherlands broadcasted a video of a boy carrying the Palestinian flag and a pole in his hand, which he used to break the front of the restaurant, before the police arrested him.
