In south Syria, low temperatures have exacerbated the suffering of the Palestinian-Syrian refugees in general, and in Deraa camp, Al-Sad Road and the Zayzoun camp in particular. The suffering has compounded because of the severe scarcity of fuel for heating, in addition to the loss of dozens of families to their homes because of the war. Most of them have to live in tattered tents that do not protect them from the winter.
According to our correspondent, the price per liter of fuel has reached 400 Syrian pounds, the price of one cylinder has reached 9500 Syrian pounds, and as for the price of firewood, one ton has amounted to 100 thousand Syrian pounds.
