UNRWA: 280,000 Palestinian refugees became homeless inside Syria and 80,000 have escaped.

Deputy Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Margot Ellis,said "The Palestine refugees totaling 560,000, and who have been affected by the Syrian crisis feel increasingly that they are trapped and isolated and unwelcome in the region, and added that out of the refugees registered with UNRWA in Syria's 560,000 refugees, about 280,000 people of them may become displaced within the country, and there are approximately 80,000 refugees have fled the country, those who arrived in Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt are facing serious legal obstacles worsening living conditions very difficult to make many take their decision to return to the risks inside Syria.

The UNRWA launched its plan for 2015 and for the regional response to the Syrian crisis, and review the plan needed for the amount of 415.4 million dollars in order to meet the minimum needs of the Palestine refugees who suffer from serious difficulties as a result of the conflict in Syria, where they will be allocated $ 329 million them to support the humanitarian needs of the Palestine refugees inside Syria, where in Lebanon will be for an amount of $ 63.5 million and Jordan an amount of $ 16.5 million, and there is also a need for the amount of $ 6.4 million for emergency operations outside the scope of those regions to respond, and so includes cash aid to the Palestinian families from Syria into Gaza and operations coordination and support and gain regional support.
