Hundreds of residents of the Khan Al-Sheih camp for Palestinian refugees in the suburbs of Damascus, went out in a large demonstration roaming the streets of the camp, in which the protestors expressed their anger over the American President, Donald Trump’s, decision to consider the occupied city of Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli occupation.
The demonstrators stressed the Arabism of Jerusalem, and that it is the eternal capital of the State of Palestine, adding that the American administration’s decision is rejected and is against international law.
Our correspondent confirmed that representatives of the Palestinian Liberation Army, and the Palestinian factions, as well as representatives of certain security branches of the Syrian regime, participated in the protests.
