The Syrian regime released the Palestinian man, “Shady El-Hindi,” after being detained for almost a year. This was the second time he was arrested and released. Shady is a resident of Khan Al-Sheih camp for Palestinian refugees, in the suburbs of Damascus.
The Syrian regime forces had detained a number of Khan Al-Sheih’s residents, after the opposition groups left, in coordination with the regime. At that time, it raided the headquarters of the relief institutions in it.
AGPS’s documented statistics reveal that 242 refugees from Khan Al-Sheih camp are still under the Syrian regime’s detention.
