ISIS published pictures of its surprise attack on one of the Syrian forces’ checkpoints in the Nisreen neighborhood, in the Tadamon region, in the south of Damascus, as well its control over a number of building blocks in the area.
Earlier, ISIS had published pictures of two members of the fighter factions affiliated to the regime and their families, while it attacked the positions of the "National Defense" militia in the Tadamon neighborhood, last Wednesday. The organization then cut off their heads and toured with them around the areas under its control, in the south of Damascus.
