The Syrian National Defense Forces targeted in Nisreen Street, in the Tadamon neighborhood, targeted on Sunday-Monday night, Palestine Street and the Tadamon neighborhood in Yarmouk camp, with a number of rockets and heavy and medium machine guns. This came in conjunction with the Syrian regime forces’ bombardment of the Qaa’a neighborhood in Damascus, in which it targeted the residential buildings in Street 30 in Yarmouk camp and Al-Hajar Al-Aswad neighborhood.
Yarmouk camp and the Tadamon neighborhood have seen a sharp escalation in the intensity of the clashes and bombardments, after members of ISIS made a surprise attack on the 11th of December, on the checkpoint affiliated to the Syrian regime in the Nisreen neighborhood, and took control over a number of building blocks in the neighborhood.
