“Be Warm for Them” campaign for the subvention of the Palestinian refugees in Turkey, launched

The ‘Kheir Umma’ charity has announced the launch of its campaign, “Be Warm for Them,” to ease the suffering of more than 2000 Palestinian families, distributed across the Turkish cities.

The charity started its campaign in the cities of Kilis and Reyhanlı in Istanbul. If the first stage of its tour, the charity distributed blankets, coal, heaters and winter clothing for children.

The Charity’s Director, “Abdul Jabbar Shalabi” asserted that the “Be Warm for Them” campaign, come in the process of trying to help the poor and in need and which must be seen with compassion in this cold, especially the children who search for warmth in the cold, winter nights.

Shalaby added that: “The campaign targets our brothers who get overloaded by winter because of their suffering. We provide them with the winter necessities including blankets, heaters and heating materials such as charcoal and firewood, in addition to winter clothes for the children.”

The Palestinian refugees displaced from Syria and Iraq to Turkey are estimated at 9 thousand Palestinian refugees, of which a majority of them are living in harsh humanitarian conditions and are suffering from a lack of job opportunities and low salaries.
