The eastern outskirts of Yarmouk camp witnessed clashes between Jaish Al-Ababeel, one of the armed opposition factions, and ISIS. Our correspondent stated that the light and medium weapons were used in the fighting which occurred on the axis of Daaboul Street and the Tuesday market, located on the outskirts of the Palestine roundabout.
Our reporter added that the the fighting led to the death of a member of ISIS with a sniper shot, and the mild injury of one of the Jaish’s members, according to what the latter posted on their Facebook page.
The area between Yarmouk camp and the town of Yelda is subjected to clashes from time to time, as ISIS attempts to progress at the expense of the opposition groups in the town of Yelda, south of Damascus.
