Members of the Palestine Liberation Army dead and captured in the suburbs of Damascus

The Palestine Liberation Army, one of the armed Syrian opposition factions, has announced the death and capturing of a number of its members, in the suburbs of Damascus.

The army indicated that it had launched a military operation on a number of the Syrian regime forces’ sites in the surrounding areas of Al-Zarekeya and Hazrama, in the eastern Ghouta, stressing that that operation resulted in the capturing of three of its members and the death of 9 soldiers of the Liberation Army, in addition to the acquisition of some weapons and ammunition.

Sources in the opposition reported the names of the captured members from the Palestine Liberation Army. They are: “Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Mousa,” Lieutenant “Ahmed Ziad Al-Khateb” and “Mohamed Adnan Qabeea.” The Action Group has not confirmed the news and the Liberation Army has not issued anything regarding this.

The Palestine Liberation Army consists of about 6000 members and fights in more than 15 sites across Syria. 3000 of its members are engaged in the fighting.
