The army and the security Syrian forces continue to cut the water in the refugee camps of Yarmouk and Daraa camps for 180 as collective punishment carried out by the Syrian regime forces, as a result of the infiltration of a number of opposition fighters from the Yarmouk refugee camp through the sewage network to leave the camp.
The water cut continued for 327 days in Dar’aa camp which made securing drinking water as a daily burden for the residents of the Yarmouk and Dar’aa camps where the residents were put in a situation to buy water in high prices but the majority were forced to drink from the contaminated water wells due to the shortage of financial; resources that led to the spread of skin and stomach diseases in a time that there is no medical treatment due to the siege.
