Residents of Al-Hossaineyya camp complain of accumulated waste and the lack of infrastructure services

Residents of Al-Hossaineyya camp are complaining of accumulated waste in the lanes and alleys of the camp, warning of the consequences of bad odour and the increase of insects, which seep into schools and homes. They condemned what they called, a deliberate negligence, which is affecting the general health and environment.

On its part, one of the Facebook pages specialized in reporting the news of Al-Hossaineyya camp, published many pictures showing the accumulation of waste in the Hossaineyya area and its camp, calling on those in charge of the Quneitra Governorate, to take on their responsibilities towards the residents of the camp, and the remove the waste which has become dangerous to the health of the people.

The residents of Al-Hossaineyya accused the Municipal of failing to provide them with the basic and infrastructure services, adding that the town suffers from sanitation problems, as well as water and electricity cuts for long periods of time.

Activists warned of the spread of insects, epidemics and diseases as a result of the accumulation of waste, and demanded the governorate and municipalities responsible of Al-Hossaineyya to find a solution to this phenomenon and remove the waste as quickly as possible, to reduce the spread of epidemics and their causes.
