ISIS bans the civilians in west Yarmouk camp from leaving for treatment and to buy food supplies

In a new step to tighten on the people living in the areas under ‘Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham’s’ control in Yarmouk camp, ISIS in south Damascus banned civilians from leaving to the areas of its control and the adjacent areas, for treatment or in order to buy food supplies. A number of ill patients were scheduled to leave the camp for treatment on Thursday, however ISIS did not allow them to.

The residents of Yarmouk camp continue to complain of the violations and suppressive practices of ISIS towards them. The residents are also suffering from the continued siege imposed on the camp, as well as the tragic humanitarian conditions that almost 3000 Palestinian refugees living in the camp are experiencing. In addition, there are more than 10 thousand Palestinians displaced from Yarmouk camp, who are currently in Yelda, Babilla and Beit Sahm.
