The Syrian regime continues to detain 26-year-old, Palestinian “Hassan Ziad Layla,” for the sixth consecutive year. His arrest came while the Syrian regime forces raided Al-Qastal School in Yarmouk camp. He was taken to an unknown place and his location remains unknown to this date, with no information released about his fate.
AGPS receives a number of messages and information about the detained Palestinians. They are then documented despite the difficulty of recording information because the Syrian regime continues to hide the fate, names and locations of the detainees. The Group has recorded the detention of 1656 Palestinian refugees in the Syrian regime prisons, of which 105 of them are women.
