The Action Group: the number of Palestinian victims in the Syrian war has exceeded 3646 victims

AGPS’s documented statistics reveal that the number of Palestinian refugee victims who have died because of the Syrian war has reached 3646 victims, since 2012.

As for the reasons for their death, the statistics indicate that 1149 refugees died because of the exchanged bombardments between the Syrian regime forces and the armed Syrian opposition groups. 970 refugees lost their lives during the fighting between the regime and the opposition, while 477 refugees lost their lives under torture, during their interrogation in the prisons and detention camps of the Syrian regime. 

309 refugees died due to sniper shots, while the siege imposed on the Palestinian camps by the Syrian regime and some of the Palestinian factions affiliated to it, has led to the death of 201 Palestinians, as a result of malnutrition and the lack of health services.

While the remaining for a variety of other reasons, including bombings, summary executions and drowning during attempts to reach Europe.

All Palestinian refugee victims in Syria are documented by the Action Group, regardless of their political positions or the body responsible for their deaths.
