The “Jafra Foundation for Relief and Youth Development” in south Damascus, honoured the excellent students in the first grade at all levels of study in the Ouda Alternative School. The Foundation distributed awards and games to motivate all students to develop their level of study in the second semester.
It should be noted that the conflict in Syria has greatly limited the opportunities for young people and children to have access to education. The fear of arrest or physical liquidation among many of the high school students, is one of the prominent obstacles obstructing the movement of education among the youth and prevents them from applying for public examinations.
