Bombing Targets the Yarmouk Camp with Rockets and Mortars Resulted in Victims, and Resumption of Food Aid Distribution to the residents.

Shelling targeted the Yarmouk refugee camp south of Damascus with rocket and mortar shells, provoking a wave of panic and fear among civilians, especially children, while our correspondent from inside the camp confirmed the death of six fighters from the armed opposition groups, including Al-Nusra Front.

This came after targeting the headquarters of the Front in Al Orouba area adjacent to the stadium area in the camp, as violent clashes broke out in Al Thalathein Street between the Syrian army alongside with the Palestinian groups and the armed opposition groups.

In the meantime, people of the Yarmouk refugee camp were gathered yesterday to the new point of distributing food aid in Palestine Street, where the (UNRWA) distributed a limited amount of food baskets on the Yarmouk people who suffer from the continuation of the siege imposed on them by the regular army and the PFGC for about (612) days respectively, also they complain of the continued power cut for more than 692 days, and water for 182 days.
