Violent clashes between ‘Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham’ and ISIS in south Damascus

In south Damascus, our correspondent in Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus reported ISIS’s bombardment of ‘Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham’s’ sites with a number of mortar shells. This came in conjunction with a car bomb attack, while no casualties were reported.

The day before yesterday, clashes erupted between ISIS and ‘Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham’ with heavy machine guns, at the Zein Street axis, while intermittent clashes continue in the western neighborhoods of Yarmouk and the vicinity of Al-Wasim Mosque.

ISIS has expanded its areas of control in Yarmouk camp, imposing its control on Haifa Street inside the camp, which was controlled by Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham, previously known as Al-Nusra Front.
