The Syrian regime and its security services continue to detain dozens of female Palestinian refugees in its prisons, most of which are youth, in addition to families which include their mothers and daughters. Testimonies of the released from the Syrian prisons confirm that the security services practice all kinds and forms of torture. The released refugee called “Hoda” told of extremely harsh details, documenting the arrest and torture which women are subjected to in the Syrian regime’s prisons, starting from hitting and electrocuting to raping several times.
The Action Group had previously demanded the release of all the Palestinian detainees and that their fate be revealed, considering what happens in the Syrian prisons criminal at all levels.
