Palestinian families in the eastern Ghouta call on UNRWA and the PLO to take on their responsibilities towards them

In the suburbs of Damascus, the Palestinian refugee students in the eastern Ghouta, called on all the international parties, UNRWA and the Palestine Liberation Organization in particular, to take on their responsibilities towards them and work urgently to protect them from the bombardments, and to send their relief assistance to them, as well as to secure a road for those wishing to leave the Ghouta region. They noted that these organizations do not make any efforts to protect and assist them, during the period of bombardments and the siege, despite the fact that they are directly responsible of the Palestinian refugees in Syria.

After contacting the Action Group, one of the refugees stressed on the critical conditions that the Palestinian refugees are experiencing in the towns of the eastern Ghouta, especially the children who are always under panic because of the bombardments, and the dozens of hours they spend without food, while their lives are in danger at any moment in the light of the intensity of the shelling.
