A cautious calm in Yarmouk camp, and ISIS threatens the opposition in the Qadam neighborhood

There is a state of cautious calm between ISIS and Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham in the west of Yarmouk camp, with the continuation of the fortifications by both parties.

Our correspondent in south Damascus reported that ISIS threatened the opposition groups in the Qadam neighborhood, adjacent to Yarmouk camp, in the case that they agree to leave the neighborhood. This came after reports that the Syrian regime warned the Syrian opposition factions which are in control of the area, to evacuate it within a period of time not exceeding 48 hours.

Our correspondent added that ISIS mobilized its military and security groups in the surrounding area of Al-Qadam neighborhood, threatening to storm into the neighborhood, if the opposition groups agree to leave it.

This comes in the context of severe humanitarian and living conditions suffered by the remaining civilians in the west of Yarmouk camp, after ISIS imposed its siege on the area and the regime’s army, the General Command groups and the pro-regime Palestinian factions imposed their siege on Yarmouk camp for more than 1696 consecutive days.
