A number of residents and activists from the Yarmouk camp called for demonstration on Friday in order to demand the release of the Palestinian Syrian refugees who are detained by the Syrian security. This call came after the Syrian Security members arrested the Palestinian refugee "Mahmoud Tameim" from the Yarmouk camp at the aid distribution point, while some activists inside the camp appealed the UNRWA and the Palestinian Embassy in Damascus to urgently intervene for the release of the detained young man and to guarantee his safety.
In a related context, the distribution of some urgent relief aid was resumed yesterday to be distributed to the besieged residents of the Yarmouk camp which is tightly besieged by the Regular Army and PFGC groups for about 614 days respectively.
