The Palestinians of Syria in Gaza are suffering of their economic and living deteriorating situation.

The Palestinians of Syria ,who have returned to the Gaza Strip, are suffering from the deteriorating economic situation, as well as many crises, the most important is the 5 months of interruption of their salaries, which were performed by the Ministry of Labor under (temporary work) unemployment in five months, while (UNRWA) cut off the cash assistance for more than three months.

Consequently, the Palestinian Syrian families in Gaza demanded the Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization for Refugees to take responsibility towards them, especially with regard to its role to provide adequate housing for them, and fixed sources of income to provide a decent life, and free university education, also called the Minister of Social Affairs to form a committee to address this file and to ensure their integration into the Palestinian society and to access to the national figure.

It is noteworthy that the number of Palestinian families coming from Syria to the Gaza Strip between February 2011 and October 2014, registered with the ministry, has reached 228 families consisting of 884 people, according to the Ministry of Social Affairs in Gaza statistics.
While the (UNRWA) said that the number of Palestinians returning from Syria, and registered with, reached about 1,000 people since March 2011.
