In Lebanon, UNRWA packaged the ATM cards for the Palestinian-Syrian refugees displaced to Lebanon and a sum of $100 was provided as a rent allowance for every Palestinian family from Syria, as well as 40 thousand Syrian pounds, equivalent to $27, as food allowance for each person.
The number of Palestinian-Syrian refugees in Lebanon is estimated at 31 thousand, according to UNRWA’s statistics until the end of December 2016.
