Jafra Foundation for Relief and Development distributed relief aid (food baskets) and in-kind assistance (brushes and sleep blankets) to the families displaced from Yarmouk camp to the neighboring towns of Yelda, Babilla and Beit Sahm, in south Damascus. The families were forced to leave their homes after ISIS took control over the camp in early April 2015, and fled recently to the south as a result of the violent bombardments that targeted their camp, in addition to the ongoing fighting between ISIS and Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham, and ISIS and the Syrian regime forces and its affiliated Palestinian factions.
The Palestinian refugees from Yarmouk camp and those in the camp and its neighboring towns are suffering from extremely harsh living conditions, because of the continued reflection of the manifestations of the war in Syria.
