The Khair Umma Foundation distributed winter blankets and covers to the residents of Yarmouk camp who were displaced recently to the neighboring towns of Yelda, Babilla and Beit Sahm, because of the ongoing fighting and violent bombardments targeting the camp.
Between 400 to 500 families fled from Yarmouk camp to Yelda because of the deteriorated security conditions in the camp, where some of them have been secured in houses that are considered unfit for housing by some institutions and activists. The rest of the families were housed by relatives and friends and a number of families managed to find themselves a dwelling with some household items.
