Director of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Syria, Ambassador Anwar Abd El-Hady, stated in a statement to the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan that: “The fate of Yarmouk camp is in the Syrian state plan to end the presence of militants in the vicinity of Damascus completely, however we cannot determine how or when now, but what we can confirm is that ongoing efforts are being made to end the presence of militants and weapons in Yarmouk camp and Al-Hajar Al-Aswad. Today, the militants have two choices; either settlement or departure, as happened with the rest of the Syrian regions. Efforts are being made and the solution is soon.”
