The Action Group’s correspondent in Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus, confirmed that dozens of families fled from the camp to the neighboring towns, after the armed Syrian opposition factions opened the Orouba crossing, which links between the camp and Yelda town.
Our correspondent added that the factions re-closed the checkpoint, after the Syrian regime closed the Babilla-Sidi Makdad checkpoint, which is the only outlet for the exit and entry of civilians, as well as the entry of commercial goods and the necessary needs of the people in the towns of south Damascus.
