150 Palestinian and Syrian refugees call on the Greek authorities on the island of Chios, to take on their responsibilities towards them

In Greece, the Action Group received calls sent by the Palestinian refugees on the Greek island of Chios, where they demanded that the Greek authorities provide their basic living necessities, in order to guarantee their personal dignities.

According to the refugees, about 150 Palestinian and Syrian refugees were distributed to one of the shelters, that lacked rooms or private areas for the women, girls and families, raising anger among the refugees and pushing them to organize a sit in on one of the nearby roads, as well as cutting the transportation routes in order to grab attention to their suffering.

The refugees also called on all the rights and relief institutions concerned with the refugees, to work urgently towards putting an end to their suffering, in addition to protecting their rights and dignity.
