The Action Group’s correspondent in south Damascus stated that the Syrian regime forces and the factions affiliated to it targeted the Tadamon neighborhood, which is adjacent to Yarmouk camp, with artillery shells the day before yesterday. Meanwhile, ISIS fired three mortar shells on the Dawar Bateekha surrounding, west of the camp, and a mortar in the Nisreen Street area, which is adjacent to the Tadamon neighborhood.
Our correspondent reported the outbreak of intermittent clashes between ISIS and the regime forces on the fighting axes in Yarmouk camp, in conjunction with the reinforcement of ISIS’s forces and equipment in the south of Damascus.
This comes in light of the continued arrival of military reinforcements belonging to the regime, to the neighborhoods in which ISIS is present in the south of the capital Damascus, in preparation of a military operation, which will enable it to extend its control over the whole of the capital, after gaining control of the eastern Ghouta.
