Palestinian activists have appealed to ensure the treatment of Palestinian child, “Youssef Zaatout” in the hospitals of Damascus, who suffers a severe deterioration in his health condition, since he was diagnosed with "lupus erythematosus," which led to the delay and damage of his kidneys and affected his general health, putting his life at risk if he does not receive the necessary treatment.
According to the activists, “Youssef” was displaced from Yarmouk camp to the town of Qudsaiya in the suburbs of Damascus, and he is in desperate need of continuous treatment, blood transfusion and dialysis, in addition to his urgent need in a kidney transplant. The weekly cost of his treatment is approximately 30000 Syrian pounds, or $70.
